What is the periodontal disease?

Periodontal disease is an inflammatory disorder caused by pathogenic oral microorganisms that can lead to the destruction of alveolar bone and connective tissues around the teeth.

Do you suffer from bad breath and gum bleeding?

If you leave these gum symptoms untreated, the infection may spread to the ligaments and bones below the gums, becoming periodontitis. The bacterial inflammation causes teeth to lose support. Eventually, the teeth will become loose and fall out. Sometimes the infection becomes so severe that it can cause a tooth abscess. This can be quite painful.

Aggressive periodontitis is a severe form of periodontitis. As in other forms of the disease, bacteria attach to teeth below the gum line. The toxins they release and the inflammation they cause damage the bone and soft tissue around them. In the aggressive form of the disease, this process occurs rapidly and people are particularly likely to lose teeth.

These pathogenic bacteria colonize the tooth surface, gingival margin and subgingival environment.

Chronical and aggressive periodontitis treatment

If you suffer from persistent bad breath, bad taste in the mouth or bleeding from gums we do recommend you to attend to your dentists asap. Sometimes aggressive periodontitis develops very quick and your teeth could be at high risk.

In most cases, we offer the deep cleaning with following 4-5 sessions of pain-less ozone therapy to be done during about 1-2 weeks.
